Danaher Corporation Facilities Specialist in Cidade Moncoes, Brazil

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative services to individual(s) or a department, including calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reporting, correspondence, reception/switchboard, filing, mail delivery and external courier services, data entry, document management services, records management, office security, budget monitoring and office supply orders. Book meetings, document meeting procedures and arrange special events.

  • May provide administrative services to a site/location, typically in the area of print production, mail services and conference room setup.

  • May handle special projects of administrative nature.

  • Indirect Purchase for office maintenance

  • SAP invoices entries

  • Receive and send for payment all accounts payable from the office

  • Involved in EHS requirements and initiatives.

  • Execute site EHS compliance and management systems in accordance with governmental and company requirements

  • Interpret laws and regulations to determine applicability for facilities of responsibility and implement programs to comply

  • Execute the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation

  • Partner with Cepheid site leaders to continuously improve the safety culture, awareness, and accountability in support of EHS programs

  • Execute EHS management systems programs and associated documentation

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

  • For people managers, ensure your associates attend and complete all required trainings satisfactorily and on time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience (in years):

  • Equivalent work experience with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in office administration. Experience in EHS is a plus.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Formal supervisory responsibilities; coordinates resources and sets daily priorities to meet operational objectives

  • Knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO’s) is a plus.

  • Competencies:

  • Demonstrated excellent utilization of corporate application programs with strong organization skills;

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced, time sensitive environment;

  • Superior skills with a commitment to meet and exceed customer expectations

  • Proven ability to function in a collaborative manner and motivate team

  • Highly self-motivated, confident, and dependable with solid follow-up skills

  • Possess an outgoing, positive, team player attitude with a strong work ethic

  • Strong ability to exercise good judgment, initiative and assertiveness

  • Strong ability to follow procedural guidelines and respond to and/or research customer concerns / inquiries with urgency and accuracy

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office

  • Preferred knowledge of ERP and CRM systems such as SAP and Salesforce.com.
