The role of the Senior Global Product Manager (GPM), within the Global Product Management team, provides the opportunity to gain breadth and depth in the business, while owning your product portfolio.

The Senior Global Product Manager for Mammotome is responsible for being the expert on your portfolio to develop and implement product line marketing strategies in order to maximize sales and profitability for Mammotome. The Sr. GPM works upstream and downstream in managing products throughout their lifecycle including product performance, product launches and strategies to differentiate Mammotome in the marketplace. The Sr. GPM leads other GPM’s to provide coaching, development and guidance to enable the GPM to deliver on specific portfolio goals. In addition, the Sr. GPM partners closely with cross-functional teams, especially engineering, marketing, finance and sales to create a comprehensive and integrated product and procedure strategy.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and drive achievement of annual product sales and procedure growth.

  • Collaborate with global partners (US, OUS) on development and implementation of marketing strategy (positioning, place, price and promotion).

  • Manage products throughout their lifecycle ensuring continuing commercial success of new products and End-of-Life for older products.

  • Represents the “Voice of Customer” (VOC) as the commercial lead for new product development projects for the product line– partnering with cross-functional teams to define customer requirements, product concept definition and overall value proposition

  • Develop/refines the business case and Go-To-Market strategies for new products.

  • Responsible for new product forecasts.

  • Leads the launch of new products according to Launch Excellence (LEx) process.

  • Manages product line End-of-Life (EOL) strategy, execution and communication.

  • Coordinates cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and timelines with visual action plans, daily management principles and kaizen events.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field equivalent required. MBA preferred but not required.

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in upstream product management (or similar customer facing role with technical product development experience)

  • Minimum of 4 years of Medical Device product development experience within a Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, or Clinical role required.

  • Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in healthcare, medical device or pharmaceuticals required.

  • Minimum of 4 years of roles collaborating and/or leading cross functional teams to develop new medical devices and lead launch excellence teams

  • 25% travel with a mix of domestic and international locations

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Industry experience with capital and consumable products and services preferred

  • Proven track record developing and leading upstream product managers or product development professionals
