What you’ll do!

As the Sales Support Specialist you will be the liaison between the outside sales force, customer service, S&OP, warehouse, manufacturing, service and product management teams to ensure accurate and timely communication to the outside sales team and customers in support of sales activities.

  • Responsible for creating a support network for the outside sales team by closely partnering with them to perform any non-selling activities such as entering quotes, creating customer accounts, tracking orders, prioritizing shipments, monitoring supply, managing the demo pool and shipping of demo equipment.

  • Work cross functionally to drive alignment and line of sight to customer needs/our commitments.

  • Identify potential risks to forecast and manage accordingly to reduce or eliminate impact to the customer by proactively advising applicable teams, working to identify a solution and holding the team accountable to implement until completion.

  • Develop an intimate understanding of the customer’s needs, challenges and history to better serve the client and to identify any internal changes/issues that may adversely impact the customer and work to remedy the situation or minimize the impact with early communication.

  • Align, manage and track sales operations for the team including quoting, pre/post sales activities, demo equipment schedule, shipping of materials for demonstrations, and customer equipment repairs, resulting in consistent practices and improved outcomes.

Who you are!

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 3 plus years of related experience including customer service, sales support, operations and/or other relevant experience.

  • MS Office required with SharePoint and SFDC experience a plus.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks, achieve goals and a self-starter with attention to detail.
