Do you want to lead an innovative R&D organization of Verification Specialists to ensure the highest product quality, on-time delivery? You will mentor teams to become highly efficient in what they do with product quality and on-time product delivery while working with a globally distributed Agile team in a fast-paced environment.
Understand how all elements of the applications and systems work together and developing Verification testing approaches that fit the overall strategy.
Develop new and adapt existing Test Automation and Regression Testing strategies.
Assess the fit of available manual scripts as a basis for automation. Identify gaps and address them to make the automation worthy.
Be comfortable with details and be hands-on to make sure the delivery expectations are met. Coordinate the team and implement development processes to continuously deliver on time with high efficiency.
Engage with appropriate cross-functional partners at other SCIEX sites, technical and leaders to communicate project status, discuss issues, guide and influence decision-making.
Identify the right 3rd party software components/frameworks to be used in existing software automation systems.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
10+ years of experience with full-cycle application development (Full SDLC experience: architecture, design, development, delivery, etc.) and shown leadership in delivering high-impact programs.
At least 5+ years of Test Lead, detailed understanding of testing strategies, including automated, manual, and performance testing.
Familiar with Automation framework and should have worked for at least 3 years on automated test case development.
Experience with Desktop applications development (C#, .NET) is an asset.
Continuous Integration and Automation testing experience.
Able to travel as needed (up to 10%).
Experience with modern version control and ticketing systems. We use Git and Jira. Experience using TeamCity and some custom tools.
Experience with developing software for life sciences or medical device products/background in Chemistry a plus Abili
FDA regulated environment and healthcare informatics experience is an asset.
