Danaher Corporation Software Specialist– Microsoft Technologies in Copenhagen, Denmark

At Radiometer, we are developing devices that are used every day to save lives around the world. The job

We need you to join us in our technology journey as we keep modernizing our popular devices that have made a big difference at hospitals for decades.

To become successful, you must possess both a strong embedded software background as well as a curiosity for other areas of expertise in order to solve problems. Your responsibilities and tasks will include:

  • Along with the rest of the team, work with our product management team in defining and specifying software change and enhancement request

  • Implement and verify changes and improvements and document according to applicable regulations

  • Work with our error manager in analyze incoming customer feedback (filtered by our local 1st and global 2nd level support organization) together with other domain specialists from R&D and identify SW part of the issues.

You should expect to travel approx. twice a year visiting customers and our Radiometer software development site in Bangalore India

Join the Team

In this job, you take the seat among 13 diverse colleagues, in one team, distributed between Denmark and India.

The team focuses on blood gas devices, which is Radiometer’s core business, and the team is responsible for the software of Radiometer’s two most important blood gas analyzers. The development of software for these devices is exciting, rewarding, and very important.

The software runs on a Windows Embedded operating system and is written in C#, C++, and Visual Basic. The devices have real-time embedded systems that perform the blood measurements. These are written in C/C++.

Radiometer’s devices are medical devices. This means that you will collaborate with specialists in many disciplines. E.g. Clinical specialists, specialists in metrology, electronics, hardware, etc.


  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Software, Electronics, Engineering, IT, or similar

  • At least 10 years of programming experience using C++, C#, and VBA/VB6

  • Motivation to work with programming and agile SW development for Medical Devices

  • Strong collaboration skills and will to collaborate with different engineering groups

  • A structured and practical approach to handle complex challenges
