Director of Regional Marketing

Reports to: VP of Global Marketing

Employment Status: Exempt

Purpose statement:

The Director of Regional Marketing for IDT’s global marketing organization is accountable for directing a global team of Regional/Field Marketing Managers with responsibilities for Regional and/or Product line revenue and operating margin targets. In addition, the Regional Marketing team develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans inclusive of localization of marketing content, driving lead generation, organizing local events, and developing key strategic expert and partner relationships within the Region that help drive growth.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads a global team of Marketing Managers; including hiring, training, management, and development.

  • Establishes and own KPIs for the team and leverage DBS toolkit to drive best-in-class execution

  • Partners with Sales and Marketing teams to generate Regional annual marketing plan and tactics to achieve annual revenue and margin growth objectives.

  • Partners with Marketing and Sales to achieve successful new product launch and retirements.

  • Coordinate and deliver product training to new sales associates according to onboarding needs and deliver ongoing to enhance sales team effectiveness.

  • Informs and adapts pricing strategy for the Region to maximize market penetration and margin growth

  • Guides team’s efforts in developing content or collateral as appropriate to support sales team

  • Drive team in collection of market intelligence such that the Regional Marketer serves as a subject matter expert for the Region with regular analysis of trends, competitors, channels, standards, etc.

  • Support team in achievement of successful lead generation campaigns and trade show participation

  • Demonstrates and upholds behavior consistent with the Danaher Core Values and delivers the Integrated DNA Technologies experience to customers and other business associates.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; PhD preferred

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in marketing or commercial roles

  • Life science and/or Genomic market experience preferred required

  • Previous management experience required

  • Previous global experience required

  • Technical product experience a strongly preferred
