In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and generally. Assess emergent technology to understand and plan how to leverage or invest in these new technologies.
Translate solution strategy into high level story and requirements. Ensure that requirements are communicated and understood by stakeholders and supported in the implementation strategy.
Serve as the product advocate to Platform Development and Platform Development Stakeholders
Build out the roadmap for IDT manufacturing equipment regarding when new systems need to be designed or acquired. How they will be deployed to different manufacturing sites, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in biology, (Bio)Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Engineering required.
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience working in technical project development teams.
Experience with DNA synthesizers and synthesis needs, capabilities, and processes.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- PSP, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC or similar problem-solving methodology experience,
biotechnology manufacturing, or engineering experience preferred.
CRISPR, NGS, qPCR and other biological method experience preferred.
Experience with laboratory automation and analytical methods preferred.
