The PLM Application Specialist will be a member of the Engineering Systems and PLM Enablement Team within Pall Corporations IT organization. This person will work as a collaborative member of the Team and will be responsible for the deployment, upgrades, enhancement, and ongoing technical support of various engineering applications, including Autodesk and the global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform. They will establish and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external service partners related to application and infrastructure projects while providing support and training to the global user community.

Job requirements:

  • Provide application and technical support for Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle PLM platform and other related engineering applications across a global Autodesk user community within Pall Corporation.

  • Collaboratively develop application and system solutions as a member of PLM Enablement Team to improve productivity, communication, and business continuity.

  • Manage and maintain user accounts and access permissions, license server, and other duties related to system access and security control. Utilize Windows server and Active Directory services.

  • Create Autodesk product installation packets for company-wide deployment and management deployment across network.

  • Independently or in collaboration with external partner(s) install software upgrades, patches, hardware, or other crucial items or services to maintain system(s).

  • Efficiently provide quality resolutions to user application issues or concerns.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, Kaizens, trainings, and other departmental and company related activities.

Minimum qualifications

  • Experience administering and supporting Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle PLM, Vault Professional, Inventor, AutoCAD, and other Autodesk engineering applications.

  • Minimum of three years of professional working experience conducting PLM system deployment, administration, and application support duties including user issue resolution and training.

  • Ability to create large organizational network deployments using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (also known as ConfigMgr or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)).

  • Bachelor degree in technology related field of study (engineering, information technology) or minimum of 5 years of professional working experience in drafting, design, or documentation management.

  • This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.

Additional competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of PLM server and application infrastructure and workflows.

  • Experience managing small and large IT related projects and initiatives for larger global organizations.

  • Experience with desktop application support and Windows operating systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical details coherently to a live or virtual audience of technical and non-technical attendees.

  • Ability to listen and translate business needs into practical solutions.

  • Experience or working knowledge of other PLM systems such as Enovia Smarteam, 3D Experience, or Windchill considered a plus.

  • Willingness to work outside standard shift hours, on occasion, to support project(s) or other initiative(s) when required.

  • Provides high level of customer focus and genuinely display a positive working attitude.

  • Ability to learn and collaborates ideas in the spirit of continuous improvement.

  • High personal accountability with ability to work autonomously and manage time appropriately with minimal direction.
