This role supports the deployment, maintenance, demobilization, and refurbishment of piloting and mobile water treatment systems. Support includes mechanical, electrical, and controls hardware component assistance for piloting and mobile systems, and management activities in the refurbish shop.
Pilot & Mobile Shop Management * Provide functional management of union personnel in shop and on site. * Collaborate with pilot project engineers and mobile project managers to work through commissioning and decommissioning of assets. * Manage piloting and mobile asset equipment upgrades and refurbishment.
Asset and Inventory Management * Maintain asset tracking tools for mobile and piloting fleet. * Manage piloting shelf spare & mobile inventory. * Organize the reception and staging of purchased parts. * Coordinate piloting vendor managed inventory. * Direct pilot equipment to utility hand’s work bays, wet testing area, and deployment areas as needed
Deployed Mobile and Pilot System Support * Schedule and oversee contract work to support deployed mobile assets. * Coordinate with project engineers to schedule on-site support for pilot utility hands. * 10% Travel on-site to support pilot mechanical and controls issues as needed.
Mechanical and Controls Troubleshooting for Piloting and Mobile Systems * Collaborate with pilot & mobile system engineers through execution issues with controls hardware, electrical, and mechanical components. * Identify appropriate replacement parts. * Schedule repair & replace support activities.
Skills and Knowledge: * Organizational skills to facilitate process improvements and maintain fleet visual management. * Technical problem solving competency in mechanical, controls hardware, and electrical components to facilitate piloting and mobile fleet troubleshooting. * Strong customer focus via a positive, approachable, and respectful attitude to support pilot and mobile fleet project managers in dealing with customer issues. * Comfortable with managing change in a fast paced environment.
* Bachelor's degree in a Technical discipline * 3 years of applicable experience with mechanical, electrical, and control system principals.
Preferred Qualifications: * Engineering Degree preferred
