Danaher Corporation Regional Aftersales Manager in Courcouronnes, France
Purpose of the Position:
This position is responsible for increasing the supplies and spares revenue and profitability in line with targets within the Linx distribution business within the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. This entails managing and implementing tracking programs to retain and regain Linx supplies and spares business within the distribution businesses. This position will be a part of a global Aftersales team.
Achievement of revenue and margin goals for the supplies and spares business of the region
Drive the growth of the supplies and spares business in region
Develop and implement strong customer retention process to retain the supplies and spares business
Identify key areas of opportunities within the aftersales business to leverage growth
Develop strategies to increase existing supplies and spares business retention
Identify customers that have been lost to other aftersales suppliers and develop a strategy and programs to regain them
Identify threats to the retention of the aftersales business
Collaborate with commercial teams on implementing supplies and spares campaign initiatives
Participate in Workshops where required for development plan or fix process issues in the company
Arrange field visits to customers and distributors to perform retain, regain, inspect/check activities
Conduct business reviews with distributors on the health and progress of the supplies and spares business
Qualifications & skills:
Degree level or relevant experience
P&L and basic accounting qualifications are critical
Database skills (managing and mining the database), accurate, accounting like precision, analytical, ready to define and put actions in place
Sound marketing skills for industrial environment
Basic sales skills (there is a high sales element in this role)
Organized (can manage multiple tasks, high productivity) and action oriented
Training in lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Six Sigma, Standard Work is desirable.
Must be fluent in English with Arabic as a second language preferable
Experience in data driven sales analytics and strategic selling of consumables in a high volume, highly transactional and very competitive environment. It is desirable that the consumables and service are associated with capital good sales.
Experience with managing a channel partners and establishing key partnerships to implement strategies for expansion and growth of both businesses.
Experience of growing an after sales business by locking in active customers with value based service, supplies and parts contracts / propositions. Also has experience of Regaining lost business – able to understand VOC and convert this into programs which will win back and retain lost business.
