SummaryUse internal plant resources to provide improvement in delivered quality of product from a broad supplier base across diverse commodity groups, both in terms of defective product and OTD. Deploy, handle and improve Supplier Quality Management processes that align with key elements in the Pall Corp QMS, BU level QMS and business driven needs, including initial and on-going supplier approval. Partner NPI, Strategic sourcing and operations to ensure alignment of goals and objectives. Develop and deploy strategies to move supplier quality from a reactive supplier quality role to a proactive supplier development role.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establish and maintain an effective regional supplier monitoring process to provide focus on improvement priorities.

  • Generate, maintain, and publish supplier scorecards.

  • Lead monthly supplier performance review meetings. Provide monthly supplier performance management report.

  • Responsible for handling Supplier COPQ at or below critical metric threshold.

  • Lead supplier top focus initiative for problematic suppliers.

  • Actively maintain a global supplier approval process, both initial and on-going approvals including supplier auditing.

  • Drive supplier improvement activities to improve both OTD and Delivered parts PPM in line with agreed KPI’s.

  • Identify and demonstrate best practice activities across the supplier base.

  • Collaborate with NPI teams and strategic sourcing to ensure agreed RFT Quality and delivery targets are achieved.

  • Develop and deploy a strategy of supplier improvement that actively moves supplier performance from a reactive to a proactive activity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing.

  • Proven experience in progressive Quality Assurance , including ISO9001 and AS9001 requirements.

  • Must be proficient at Excel/Minitab and able to analyze and interpret data .

  • Applies advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of the field.

  • Must have a very strong understanding of statistical analysis.

  • SME with APQP toolbox, including FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, Process capability and PPAP.
