Danaher Corporation Software/Firmware Engineer II in Dalian, China

I. Purpose of Position

Designs and implements the software system development for medical and research-use-only instrument.

II. Key Responsibilities

  1. Software system design and core component implementations (Incl. Design, Code, Unit Test)

  2. Communication with internal product manager and R&D team from the technical aspect on requirement analysis, design, implementation, bug fixing and performance tuning.

  3. Create high-level design specification and detailed design specifications for owning components.

  4. Plan and organize reusable asset libraries for long-term products evolutions

  5. Ensure the compliance with the professional code, company policies and regulations.

    III. Background and Skill Requirements

  6. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree desired.

  7. 5+ years commercial projects background is necessary, 3+ years of experience in commercial software development using C#/C++.

  8. 2+ years of experience development using Window WPF/UWP/WinForms.

  9. Experience with performance/load testing framework, dashboard, and data analysis.

  10. Multi-processor, multi-threaded, Interrupt-thread and deterministic development.

  11. Data structure concepts such as Stacks, Queues, Link Lists, Binary Trees, Binary Search, etc.

  12. Client-Server and multi-layer application development.

  13. Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills.

  14. Experience with the following would be a plus:

    Medical product development Automated unit testing frameworks SVN, GIT, ClearCase, Perforce or similar UML, VISIO
