The Sales Training Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading selling skills, sales strategy and tactics, and presentations skills training to newly hired laboratory diagnostic sales representatives. This position is a member of the North America Commercial Operations Sales Training team and is remote-based. This role reports directly to the Sr Manager, North America Sales Training. This position is part of the Global Sales Training team and is fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Implement virtual and in-person training workshops within our Foundational Training program (i.e. new sales hires’ training). And, as needed, at national or regional meetings.

  • Deliver effective and highly engaging training content via eLearning, Virtual live Instructor-Led Training (VILT), or live, in-person formats.

  • Build and/or maintain eLearning courses plus assign and monitor completion of class pre-work on our Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Refine training content using instructional design practices to match current business needs.

  • Coach and provide feedback, both verbal and written, on observed behaviors in role-play presentations. Share these observations with the hiring Sales Managers.

  • Participate on cross-functional teams or projects to improve training content development or delivery as identified through in-depth gap analysis.

  • Collaborate with Sr Mgr. of Sales Training on projects that identify and address development needs for the sales organization.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of validated experience or a Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience

  • Trained as a trainer

  • Understanding of sales processes, preferably in Healthcare Capital Equipment sales

  • Ability to deliver instrument product demonstrations to both sales reps and customers

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 3+ years of prior medical sales experience in the Laboratory Diagnostics industry.

  • Experience in content development and Medical/Legal/Regulatory review processes preferred.

  • Leading vendors to deliver projects on-time and on-budget
