The Sr. Manager North America Commercial Sales Training for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing training that focuses on core selling skills/tactics and product knowledge for diverse sales roles. You will also lead orientation for new sales representatives, product launch training, as well as additional and enhanced training in support of critical needs. Being the Senior Manager of Sales Training, you would also refine or develop the sales training strategy to meet the needs of all aspects of the Sales New Hire on-boarding and continuous training programs. You’d be a strong team leader and player/coach, who is able to develop hard-working teams and work effectively to support the needs of multiple functions within the Commercial organization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead the success of the sales training team; to include their professional development.
Lead all aspects of execution of Foundational Sales Training for new sales hires and on occasion new marketers.
Builds collaborative relationships with various organizations including but not limited to: Sales, Product Marketing, Client Services, Contracting, Sales Operations, Legal, Reimbursement, and Medical.
Plans, schedules and coordinates both Foundational (i.e. new hire) and continuous learning training throughout the year.
Implements, refines, or build long-term sales training strategies in alignment with marketing and sales leadership input.
Communicates vision, strategy, learning outcomes and business results to leadership for all sales training initiatives.
Work cross-functionally to deliver an outstanding on boarding experience that impacts new hire retention.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience or Masters with 12+ years of experience in medical device, healthcare or life science research industry
Sales Training experience
People leadership experience
Ability to travel up to 20%
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Diagnostic experience preferred
A Minimum 4 years sales training experience preferred
A Minimum 4 years people leadership experience preferred
