The Sr Staff Commodity Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for Partner with Beckman Dx Commercial Operations teams to strategically manage the supply of and spending on third-party finished good diagnostic instrument platforms.
Develop & implement strategies that are aligned with Business Unit and regional Commercial KPIs for quality, cost, delivery & growth.

You will be a part of the Global Strategic Sourcing team and report to the VP of Strategic Procurement responsible for managing the supply of and spending on third-party finished good diagnostic instrument platforms. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and execute the strategic sourcing strategy for third-party finished goods items
Lead or support supply “source through contract” activities in partnership with Business Unit Product Management or Regional Commercial Managers
Lead or support supplier relationship management activities in partnership with Business Unit Product Management or Regional Commercial Managers
Lead supply risk management activities, including resolution of major supply disruptions.
Champion and coordinate Supplier development and Supplier Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives, including holding workshops and kaizens.
Develop, integrate, and manage preferred suppliers to meet global requirements.
Develop and implement “best-in-class” supply chain processes and procedures.
Lead annual workshops with key stakeholders to continuously develop and improve savings funnel
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years’ experience OR Master’s with 12+ years’ experience OR Doctorate with 9+ years' experience
Demonstration of continuing education in sourcing and supply chain
Advanced negotiation skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Medical manufacturing industry
Managing the sourcing and spend of diagnostic instruments
End to end Supply Chain management

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $128,800 - $155,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
