We are seeking to hire a Controller with extensive site-based manufacturing experience and comfortable with all aspects of Controllership including cost accounting principles and use of standard reporting tools including SAP. This is an outstanding opportunity be influential and own the financial affairs of the manufacturing site. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial documents with supporting schedules for Finance and Operations as well as Site Operations and Corporate Finance/Shared Services. Responsibilities:

The site Controller will be Partnering with the onsite Plant Manager to provide pertinent data to establish operational and financial goal alignment and accountability. This leader will be an innovative leader who continually strives for commitment to improvement and excellence in financial reporting.

Attends daily meetings as Finance Leader, ensuring Operational activities discussed are appropriately accounted for financially. Highlight's areas of opportunity and challenges the business to implement changes for financial improvement.

Verifies financial results & analysis including: Shin events, kaizen, lines moves, Investment Proposal Authorizations and VA/VE projects. Presents/translates the daily/weekly/monthly financial results to site operational team and value stream.

Contribute to operational improvement ideation, motivates team involvement, and independently leads projects utilizing DBS (Six Sigma / Lean) methodology to achieve improvements in Operation cost structure as well financial controls, reporting and SAP processes.

Coordinates and prepares the budget/forecast process for site including analysis of the variances and adherence to Pall policies, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for all functions within trial balance. Be accountable for the completeness and accuracy of internal/external audit of the financial documents and communicate Internal Controls for the site.

Prepares interim, quarterly, and annual reports / statements (Spread template) and supporting analytical review to Global Operations Controller and Corporate Reporting.

Partners with Operations to implement Standard Cost for existing products and new products by maintaining a high-level operational understanding of the value streams within the site and all financial components.

Required Experience:

  • Eight or more years professional experience working in a manufacturing / plant-based work environment.

  • Controller responsibilities to include substantial use of cost accounting as well as general accounting (GAAP) principles using SAP and other reporting tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA / CMA preferred

  • Solid understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles and reporting systems.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to support manufacturing site-based colleagues including the Plant Manager.

  • Ability to work onsite at Deland Florida facility.

  • US Citizen or Permanent resident is required for this role .
