This an outstanding opportunity to work with a team accelerating new product development efforts for Pall’s IoT products. You will be an integral team member and contribute supporting software development activities through agile development mastery and software testing expertise.

Main responsibilities:

Leads software/hardware testing capabilities for the IoT and Applications team, including test tools and process management across multiple software development initiatives. Supports and develops other engineers in this area of expertise through mentorship and coaching.

Serves as Scrum Master for agile development methodologies and leads the process of Daily and Weekly Management for the development team.

Responsible for creating software test cases, test plans, and setting up/maintaining test environments for the software development team. Prepares artifacts for and participates in design reviews, including system architecture and specifications, failure modes effects analysis, reliability and maintainability, others as required by product family.

Leads scope, technical complexity, and risk for software development in NPD projects, ensuring effective controls are in place and risk mitigations are planned and executed when needed. Utilize DBS tools (process methodology) such as Visual Project Management, Daily Management and Danaher Software System

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three or more years current experience in software testing and leading Scrum teams for AWS Cloud, mobile apps and / or IoT.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • US Citizen or Permanent resident of U.S. is required

  • Experience with tools for software application test, maintenance, bug tracking and helpdesk (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, TestComplete, ReadyAPI, Zephyr, etc.)

  • Ability to set up the required test fixtures (hardware, software and network)

  • Some application programming using Javascript, Java, C#, Python, HTML, CSS; Mac OS X and Windows

  • Cloud technologies (AWS-based): DynamoDB, IoT Core, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeCommit

  • Knowledge of fixing and implementing web technologies

  • Proficiency in defect trouble shooting and code debugging. Ability to resolve basic product defects with code and produce hotfixes for customers.

  • Apply innovative approaches to complex problems and proposes unique solutions as well as comfortable with delivering complex arguments to multi-functional teams and advocating successfully for preferred solutions

  • Ability to work remotely or if onsite, follow the company’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. #LI-Remote #L1-SB2
