Description
Position Summary: Implement globally sustainable variation reduction through the identification of key characteristics, the deployment of statistical techniques and the development of a team of networked variation reduction experts. Develop a global culture of statistical thinking and a data driven approach to variation reduction, both within BU and across BU. Develop and implement a standardized approach to statistical analysis and variation reduction throughout the entire supply chain. Drive statistically driven improvements upstream to key ‘X’ and embed in the NPI process to provide demonstrable process capability at product launch. Identify best in class MicroE variation reduction philosophies and deploy within and across BU’s.
Primary Responsibilities: * Develop and implement a standardized statistical ‘toolbox’ covering all aspects of variation reduction * Develop and deploy a global training curriculum for statistical tools including competency assessment * Develop and mentor a global pool of statistical experts, connected to the Gamba, able to quickly identify and priorities opportunities for variation reduction * Lead, coach and mentor variation reduction and 6-sigma projects that provide significant business improvements * Influence and support SPC infrastructure development, including software based solutions for capture and analysis of data both at a local and global level. * Priorities improvement opportunities based on risk and impact, develop a big picture BU wide approach * Develop a culture of statistical decision making that supports NPI process, including application of advanced techniques such as QFD and DoE * Drive statistical culture up stream and into supply chain. Influence suppliers to identify and leverage variation reduction opportunities.

Qualification
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or statistic * Must have at least 5-7 years manufacturing experience * Certified Six Sigma DMAIC Black belt with Design For Six Sigma experience, Master Black Belt will be an added advantage * Must have proven track records in completing Black Belt projects, with training and mentoring experience will be an added advantage * Must be proficient with Minitab, Excel, word and power point * Highly skilled at data analysis and interpretation * Understands and applies advanced concepts, practices and procedures from the semiconductor industry
