This position may also assume responsibility for cross-functional company and/or Marketing-wide initiatives and meetings as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for revenue growth for strategic growth initiatives within the OTT's Solar Energy Solutions (http://https://www.otthydromet.com/en/applications/solar-energy)

  • Leads new product launches and commercialization from go-to-market planning to post launch commercial launch activities

  • Analyzes portfolio performance, including revenue, profitability, volume, price and quality and converts analysis into insights, strategy and actions.

  • Leads competitive research and analysis, identifies opportunities and threats and develops and executes tactics accordingly by leveraging the rest of the commercial organization.

  • Actively participates in Voice of Customer (VOC) research to ensure short term and long-term commercial success of the current product portfolio and to capture and prioritize key customer needs for future products.

  • Actively supports the annual commercial planning process and other cross-functional initiatives.

  • Understands and leverages the relevant Danaher Business System (DBS), including but not limited to: Problem Solving, Daily Management, Launch Excellence, Customer Segmentation, VOC.

  • Develops talent within the team and assist with identifying and preparing a successor.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Business or Engineering; MBA or other Marketing advanced degree desired

  • 5+ years of progressive work experience; product management/marketing experience preferred

  • Strong critical thinking skills; ability to synthesize data and facts to draw logical and actionable conclusions

  • Thorough understanding of the customer segments and product applications for business unit’s products

  • Effective project management and time management skills. Comprehending the critical elements of a project. Converting these skills into more rapid product development

  • Able to empathize with customers, translating needs into products

  • Strategic and growth-oriented mindset, collaborative working style, and customer centricity

  • Strong financial acumen; financial skills including financial modeling and forecasting

  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth initiatives by working cross-functionally in a matrix organization

  • Understanding of trends impacting the overall business and product line

  • Clear/concise and evidence-based communication to Senior Management

  • Ability to establish credibility and trust internally with all levels of the organization and externally with customers; ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global environment with people from different countries and cultures, education, work backgrounds and working styles

  • Able to travel up to 25%

  • Fluent in English
