POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of robust quality management systems ensuring the company's statutory duties are fulfilled and exceeded. This includes ISO9001 / ISO17025 quality compliance and customer expectations. The role of a Global Quality Management System Associate is to ensure our teams are trained and applying the Global Quality Manual, monitor and drive continuous improvement of customer satisfaction through analysis of internal & external quality performance and management of projects within the sustainment organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve complete quality compliance management systems in accordance with organization plans and adherence to legislation and agreed regulatory bodies’ processes and procedures

  • Leading internal and external audits by customers and Regulatory Authorities as required

  • ISO Management Representative in improving, supporting and maintaining our ISO quality system ensuring that the organization meets all agreed quality compliance (legislation and objectives) and that appropriate risk mitigation/control measures are in place

  • Responsible for risk assessment, periodic internal and external reviews, and audits of compliance. Monitoring and managing quality compliance within the organization

  • Provide advice, guidance and support to the organization with regards to compliance. Where appropriate, advice on changes and how to implement them and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards

  • Effective liaison, support and assistance between the department and remainder of organization

  • Provides consistent problem solving leadership and inputs to drive process control and systemic improvements by applying the Danaher Business System (DBS)

EDUCATION, BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelors (or higher) degree in a technical discipline preferred (Physical Sciences or Engineering)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and successfully managing the quality compliance

  • Qualified to a minimum of lead auditor level in a relevant discipline

  • Formal training in quality planning, tools and analysis

  • Effective communication within team and with stakeholders

  • Significant track record of successful work

  • Working knowledge of change control, process control and quality system management

  • Good computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, statistical tools)

  • Must be able to set and attain goals and initiate action to resolve problems and improve products and processes

  • Must be able to provide concise summaries of quality issues, changes needed or made, results delivered
