POSITION SUMMARY:

Business Development Manager-

A new position, crafted as a hands-on sales management role, driving revenue for 5 existing neighboring country markets – Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives. This position is responsible for working closely with our Authorized Service Providers (ASPs) and building support structures within the existing India, France and US business teams to ensure the needs for this market segment are met. Also, this person will be responsible for the relationship management at the key Stakeholders and Global Partners like Foundation of Innovative and New Diagnostics (FIND), Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), Global Drug Facility (GDF), World Health Organization (WHO), International Organization of Migration (IOM) etc. in India and adjacent countries.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop annual plans based on achieving above market growth by product line, segment and territory. Exceed planned performance.

  • Design the Business Plan and Go-To Market strategy for the adjacent market after due diligence and ground working.

  • Drive rigorous business processes using DBS; Develop and own a robust sales funnel to drive customer retention and competitive wins.

  • Use Sales Force (SFDC) and Sales Analytics for funnel management, customer segment, product and country performance assessment.

  • Align the Order Management Team from France and Sweden for smooth business transaction in the defined territory.

  • Collaborate with India Customer Care Organization to support the ASP in adjacent countries for sustainable business.

  • Work with Global Partners like FIND, MSF etc on the ground to align for access and support the India Sales Team for achieving the sales targets

  • Actively present, minimize and handle business risks, third party stockist and compliance against all legal and statutory requirements locally.

  • Manage the CPTK (Channel Partner Tool Kit) process for the ASPs to renew the Distributor Agreements and cultivate a culture of Compliance and right Business

  • Channel Partner Resource development and deployment including training and mentoring, performance management and reward and recognition

  • Drive Value Selling Culture at all levels through innovative solution selling approach along with a culture of Voice and Dignity, Candor and Transparency throughout the region

  • Client engagement through distributor as well as in-direct teams (such as service and marketing) using key tools such as ‘Voice of Customer’ to ensure client interests are prominently positioned to all parts of the business

  • Ensure strong understanding of the marketplace, including competitive accounts and client trends

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Overall 8-15 years of experience in healthcare segment like Hospitals and clinical laboratory market, experience in Molecular diagnostics would be added advantage.

  • Strong track record of selling concept based premium products in healthcare segment.

  • Expertise in demand generation and multi department hospital and lab sales.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Graduate in Science, preferably with MBA.

  • Skilled in MS Word, Power-point and excel applications.
