For our legal department, based in Dreieich - near Frankfurt - we are looking for a Legal Associate (f/m/d), who will mainly take care of the following duties:

Contract Management – 50%:

  • Reviewing and revising third party contracts to conform to Pall’s standard terms and local law.

  • Create moderate to sophisticated contractual documents

  • Provide mentorship to business team members on all Contractual matters, Contract Law ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with promptly whilst providing high quality commercial and pragmatic legal advice

  • Participate in contract negotiations

  • Support the EMEA L&C team on contracts management and document retention repository, including training Pall associates if required to do so

  • Management and coordination of legal disputes

  • Working directly with the L&C center of excellence in Kuala Lumpur undertake duties related to Anticorruption, Subsidiary Management and the Legal Matters database for the L&C EMEA team

  • Provide support to the L&C EMEA team on advising on matters related to the Pall Retention policy

Subsidiary and Due Diligence Management -25%:

  • Working directly with the L&C center of excellence in Kuala Lumpur undertake duties related to Anticorruption, Subsidiary Management and the Legal Matters database for the L&C EMEA team

  • Provide support to the L&C EMEA team on advising on matters related to the Pall Retention policy

General Tasks - 25%:

  • Prepare and deliver in-house training on legal and compliance topics to business teams

  • Provide guidance to business team members on Corporate Governance and Data Protection, ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with promptly whilst providing high quality commercial and pragmatic legal advice

  • Actively participate in all Special projects as requested by EMEA Senior Counsel

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • University Law Degree or equivalent level of experience in local law

  • A high level of knowledge of contract law and experience of reviewing contracts and contract management is essential

  • A high level of knowledge related to Corporate Governance and Subsidiary Management

  • Several years’ experience in contracts management position

  • Strong business acumen

  • Experienced in working with a contract management process, and generally comfortable/capable of working with databases

  • Proficient in German and in English
