Leica Microsystems Sales and Marketing Leadership in the region (70% of the mission): Sales Strategy: * Formulates and executes competitive sales and marketing strategies that align with the company regional and divisional directives to achieve short and long term revenue growth, ensuring that goals are consistent with Leica Microsystems vision and mission. * Translate strategy in actionable tactics on a daily basis, analyses KPI’s and define countermeasures into actions. Distribution Management: * Continuously evaluates and looks for optimum distribution channels for the relevant products in the Region. Set relevant targets/quotas with distributors and continually monitors performance throughout the year. Responsible of the compliance process Processes: * Apply DBS in all areas in order to have a lean and efficient sales organization in the region. Grew competitive funnel and accelerates installed base Growth through Funnel Management. People Management: * Manage the development and performance of his/her reports . Apply all HR tools for the organization in order to motivate, retain the associates and fill the talent funnel Platform level Commercial representation in the Middle-East (30% of the mission): * Create awareness among Life Science industry leaders, KOL, and purchasing and materials management directors in collaboration with distributors. * Increase awareness through custom programs to fit the regional cultural and Life Science settings. * Assist with sales and industry exhibition support and demonstrations * Drive growth initiatives across the different Operating Companies of the Life Sciences Platform of Danaher (Key Account Management, Visibility, Go to Market, etc).
* University degree in a relevant discipline is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is ideal. * Direct sales experience, experience to manage a regional team for at least 3 years; * Proven track record of growing business faster than market for at least 3 years; * Experience in managing regional cross functional project * Experience in lean thinking (managing Kaizens, Green Belt, DBS significant experience) * Experience in selling * Strategic thinking * Excellent in modern sales methods * High level of energy to drive change * Experience in working in an international environment * Fluent English, another language would be a plus
