The DevOps team is a new effort within Cytiva. We are now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join us from the start of this exiting journey, implementing the DevOps culture within our organisation. What you’ll do

  • Manage IAAS (Infrastructure as Service), PAAS (Platform as a Service) and SaaS (Software as a Service) in Multi cloud platform (AWS, Azure)

  • Writing infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools such as terraform, pulumi, cdk, cloud formation, terragrunt.

  • IAC testing using frameworks such as awspec etc.

  • Configuration management using tools such as ansible, chef, puppet.

  • Architectural design for SCM and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Gitlab, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins and integrating CI/CD tools with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure.

  • Programing with Python and PowerShell for DevOps automation.

  • Lambda integration with other AWS services along with reducing cold starts in lambda, Configuring monitoring tools such as new relic, Dynatrace and SecOps tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Twistlock.

  • Working with .Net stack and programming using .Net and managing Microservices and orchestration platform such as Kubernetes.

Who you are?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with strong professional experience of 6+ years in DevOps Environment with 5+ years of experience in DevOps architecture. Up to date on Agile & DevOps knowledge of its benefits and actual experience implementing as a champion.

  • Evaluate, provide recommendations, and enhance the existing CI/CD pipelines, configuration, procedures, and processes to provide a more robust, dependable, efficient, and flexible system Implement automated processes to support streamlining of engineering/administrative duties.

  • Tier 2 and 3 support on resolving issues with underlying virtual infrastructure, CI/CD platforms and application functionality taking into considering infrastructure dependencies

  • Ensure tools/environments are leveraging security configuration correctly. Proactively govern security and enforce policies.

  • Perform and document installation and configuration of the platforms. Coordinate support for hardware, OS, Networking, and databases where applicable.

  • Good in problem solving.

  • Passionate to learn and unlearn new technologies.
