The Senior Software Architect is an integral position within the Claros R&D team. The Architect will be part of a fast paced team, working in a collaborative environment that will drive growth and innovation within the Software and Cloud Computing competency. He/she will design and develop software code, collaborating with other teams globally (software developers and testers) using the SCRUM process, in order to deliver iterative releases of front-end user experiences, with high quality expectations, and challenging timing of milestone delivery.
Architects and designs technical solutions and roadmaps needed to meet high-level business requirement
Leverages industry and organizational standards, patterns, frameworks, and best practices to develop architectures that enable fulfillment of business strategies
Coordinate resolution of highly complex problems and tasks, selling new ideas and concepts in support of operational goals and objectives
Integrate and translate complex concepts into tactical action plans balancing near term and long range needs and constraints.
Establishes and fosters strong relationships with a global software development team
Effectively builds relationships, promotes a collaborative team environment, and influences stakeholders
Development of cloud applications utilizing Microsoft Azure PaaS offerings
Analyze acceptance criteria and provide estimates of effort
Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on epics.
Direct high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development
Architect and prototyping Service Fabric Microservice Applications in C#
Collaborate with fellow developers, designers and analysts to solve problems.
Set and follow coding standards.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of experience developing cloud applications using, AWS, Azure, or other equivalent technologies
5+ years of experience developing server backends using C# in .Net such as Web API or other equivalent technologies
Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance.
Experience with s ource control
Demonstrated ability to produce technical design documentation for assigned features and user stories.
Strong drive to learn and produce beautiful code
Experience with Web API
Experience with API Management
Experience using OAuth and OpenID.
Experience with web client development
Experience with using Jira and and the Atlassian Suite.
Experience in working with onshore/offshore teams.
Experience with RESTful API Services.
Experience working in Agile development as part of a Scrum team.
Experience with SignalIR.
Experience with other client MVVM frameworks.
Understanding of IoT concepts.
