Position Overview

The Cycle Counter will be responsible for supporting inventory functions throughout the warehouse department through SAP and DSI transactions. This person will execute cycle count transactions and assist with investigations, while partnering with the shipping and inventory planners to develop and communicate strategies to reduce inventory errors, increase stocking accuracy with the intent of continuous improvement, and drive to root cause.

Job Responsibilities

  • Warehouse / Stock management

  • Keeps the stock in order, labels goods and stores them in the right place

  • Complete daily counts in the warehouse

  • Takes goods from stock based on the scrap list (e.g. substandard quality, complaints, not solid, etc.)

  • Solves SAP-related problems (e.g. production orders not in order, errors with shipments, etc.)

  • Follow up of the dynamic kanban articles, complete Kanban audits

  • Cleaning of racking and materials

  • Ensure standardization and consistency of counting process, techniques, and procedures

  • Identify inventory control problems

  • Receiving raw materials

  • Potentially assist with receives goods (e.g. raw materials) coming from the suppliers and checks / scans the goods

  • Processes materials / raw materials that have been rejected

  • works according to the predetermined schedule

  • takes returns from customers back into stock

  • Shipping of finished products

  • Collects goods in the warehouse according to a pick list

  • Packs the goods and scans them, have the goods ready at their specific location for shipping / dispatch

  • Support & use of new DBS tools (e.g. Dynamic Kanban, Inventory Management, Daily Management, etc.)

  • Cleans the work environment and keeps the warehouse in order

  • Responsible for the accurate handling of transport documents

  • Can occasionally be called into another warehouse department depending on the need for the work

  • Support Warehouse Value Stream Leaders

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving experience, preferred

  • Must be able to lift between 15 to 50 lbs

  • Willingness to operate a forklift or other similar equipment, or previous experience

  • Knowledge of SAP, preferred
