Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage and ensure compliance of IP Review requirement for all NPD projects passing Stage Gate 2

  • Analysis and distribution of the weekly Patent Alert & Driven Watch Report

  • Analysis and distribution of a monthly Competitor Gap Analysis

  • Prior Art & Freedom-to-Practice searches

  • Provide Claims Charts

  • IP Landscape reports to support BU initiatives and M&A projects

  • Patent Portfolio reviews for competitive intelligence

  • Assist with administration of Invention Disclosure presentations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a science/engineering

  • 1 to 3 years' experience performing technical searches, such as patent and/or literature searches

  • Preference to knowledge of patent search databases such as Derwent and Innography

Position Proficiencies:

  • Communication – discuss project requirements and results with a technology-centric client base

  • Reporting – analyzing, assembling, and prioritizing IP data into format that can be understood by non-IP professionals

  • Planning/organization – manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely delivery
