Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be an integral part of the operations team. Maintenance Technician are responsible for providing equipment support including diagnosing equipment issues/downtime, preforming preventative maintenance, assisting any equipment servicing and repair, and moving equipment/controls as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Install, diagnose, repair, wire, and maintain a variety of electrical and electronic equipment and controls related to production and building equipment. This includes, but not limited to, motors, pumps, relays, circuit breakers, electronic machine controls and circuits, computers, printers, and other equipment.

  • Fabricate complex parts to blueprint and work instructions using various hand and power tools

  • Work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals

  • Setup and conduct preventative maintenance (PM) on production equipment and maintain PM schedules and records as needed

  • Install and maintain a wide variety of complicated machine tools, test stands, and building equipment

  • Analyze and interpret test data, adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuits and components

  • Complete all vital paperwork including scorecards, hazards recognitions, routers, and data

  • Continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes and procedures to improve safety, quality, and cost of running the equipment

  • Participate in continuous improvement/Kaizen activities

  • Ensure machines meet specifications and are compliant with all policies and procedures including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

  • Spot waste and continuous improvement opportunities in daily processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficient computer skills to access production information

  • Knowledge of electronic systems, components, and their functions

  • Experience in a cleanroom environment

  • Willing to work overtime as needed

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience, preferred

  • Trade school degree in electronics or previous electrical repair/wiring experience, preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electronics and machine maintenance, preferred

  • Microsoft Office and SAP experience, preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 35 lbs. daily and stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours or more)

  • Frequently twist and bend

  • Ability to work with hazardous solvents, oils, and other chemicals

  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing tasks
