Position Overview

  • The Quality Compliance Officer will be the Quality Lead in plant wide compliance projects. In this role you will be leading Customer Audits, handling all Quality Systems questionnaires and be responsible for the local Quality System.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reach agreement with the customer/certification body on the audit

  • Responsible for planning and preparing the audit

  • Work closely with process owners on specific action plans. Communicate action plans to customer as a response to the reported non-conformities

  • Assures the quality of processes and products by performing audits, inspections, tests, defect & trend analysis, and reporting on results of measurement standards

  • Assures consistent quality of suppliers and production by validating processes; providing documentation from measurement analysis, and helping departments understand the interpretation of collected data

  • Able to use customer feedback to make improvements in process, products and services

  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and the Biotech Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Be system administrator in our global document management system (SmartSolve). Support in training activities related to SmartTrain

  • Review Quality documents

  • CAPA and local Change Management owner

  • Internal audit owner (schedule and follow-up on execution)

  • Projects related QMS activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a Scientific Field, preferably in Lifesciences (e.g. Bio, Biomedical, Chemical, Pharma) with at least 3 years of related experience

  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Products

  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices, industry and international regulations and standards

  • Familiarity with ISO9001; some knowledge of ISO 15378 and/or ISO 13485, preferred

  • Strong verbal and communications skills

  • Cross functional leadership capabilities

  • Excellent planning, organizational and presentation skills
