Danaher Corporation Sales Manager Regulatory Compliance Services in Dusseldorf, Germany
The Compliance Services & Consulting Specialist (CCS) is responsible for the sales of SCIEX Compliance services and Consulting products in the respective region.Region of primary responsibility is Europe.
Supporting the teams in High Growth Market and India on related commercial activities will be done if and when required.
CCS will drive business in existing and new markets where qualification, validation, compliance and laboratory related consulting services are needed by our customers. The CCS negotiates complex contracts, creates sales strategies to meet the sales plan, mentors the teams in involved sales channels and partners with colleagues in Service/ Aftermarket Sales, Instrument Sales, and Field Service to develop and implement successful account strategies.
Responsible for the development of the business within the territory/accounts including meeting sales targets, forecasting accuracy, and managing related sales process (Service/ Aftermarket Sales, Instrument Sales, and Field Service). Also, responsible for communicating and promoting virtually or in person to respective audiences in order to familiarize our customer base and industry on our products, services, expertise, and compliance philosophy.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct Sales and marketing of SCIEX compliance and validation services and laboratory Consulting
Work closely with Quality and other departments across the value chain to propose new services and products to develop and offer to customers.
Collaboration with internal departments, functions and personnel to ensure compliance and validation services and products meet customer needs and corporate guidelines.
Foster and promote close working relationship with SPM, Compliance and Validation Services delivery and development teams and other groups as required across the value chain.
Travel on-site to meet with customers for VOC and sales calls.
Travel to conferences and seminars for speaking engagements and to stand as a representative of SCIEX and/or Global Services.
Participates in managerial discussions as deemed appropriate by department management
As needed support the Validation & Compliance group on smaller projects and activities that may fall outside of this position’s primary scope
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Experience in negotiating sales deals and applying analytical approach to the respective process

Knowledge (hardware and software) of SCIEX Mass Spec products
Basic computer business applications s/w knowledge (e.g., Oracle & data retrieval, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Must be able to travel globally. Travel will be approximately 50%
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Engineering or equivalent experience
IT and/or informatics background
Requires 5+ years of customer requirements gatherings and sales experience and track record or equivalent experience (product related experience R&D, manufacturing, etc)
Requires knowledge of SCIEX products and use at customer labs
Requires knowledge of FDA and other regulatory compliance requirements pertaining to the use of mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography products.
Knowledge and experience of workflows in regulated laboratory environment
Experience working with product teams and field service organization in a project leadership capacity highly desired
