We are hiring a Production Supervisor who will work onsite with our team in Eldridge, IA, at our chemical (batch processing) manufacturing plant. If you are seeking a leadership role where you can work hands on, this could be the job for you!
Schedule and prioritize shift’s workload and provide direction to staff to ensure efficient operations
Ensure that all finished product packaging meets ChemTreat’s specifications
Maintain inventories for production-related items
Maintain communication with internal departments and plant management to ensure compliance
Maintain environmental, health and safety documentation as it relates to EPA compliance, OSHA requirements, and ChemTreat, Inc. policies and procedures. Follow appropriate EHS procedures and policy which may include the identification and proper handling of hazardous waste. File incident reports for work related incidents and near misses.
Integrate and troubleshoot automation software
Conduct training as specified under ChemTreat’s ISO-9000 program
Are you qualified?
Associate Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years of previous management/supervisory experience with effective communication and interpersonal skills required
Experience in inventory management, forklift operation, Microsoft Office, Hazardous Materials and data entry required
At least 1 year of production experience is required. Background in an automated batch processing environment would be ideal, or in distribution or a large warehouse
