Your Challenge

A field Service Engineer is brought up to speed with a robust training on our products, technology and our industry standards. They have a vital role in supporting Videojet's customers, ensuring that ‘Up Time, Peace of Mind’ goal is achieved. They are responsible for installing, repairing and servicing a range of Videojet's coding and marking equipment such as industrial small character inkjet, high resolution case printing, labelling systems and Thermal Inkjet and Laser solutions.

The Service Engineer is someone who has a passion for success with a drive to complete a job to the highest standard. Managing expectations when taking care of customers is crucial, so they have strong interpersonal skills. They are open to developing and being challenged, thrive under pressure and continually seek to improve. You'll be part of a great team, that looks after our customers and after each other. No day is the same, so you'll be sure not to get bored.

Your responsibilities as a Service Engineer at Videojet, include:

  • Install and commission new Videojet solutions

  • Maintain and Service Videojet’s customers base of Videojet equipment

  • Work closely with sales to support Videojet trials and demonstrations

  • Maintain and grow customer relationships through excellent customer service and communication.

  • Proficient use of service IT systems to accurately record and report information

  • Support Regional Revenue targets by promotion service contracts and additional services to customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Engineering / mechatronic education (MTS or equivalent professional qualifications)

  • +3 years experience in a field service role

  • Conversant in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience Coding/Marking or automation
