Job Description

Are you ready to take the next step in your sales career? Join our team! Based in Colorado or Salt Lake City area (UT, CO, WY, MT, ND, SD, MN) the CE Territory Manager will support and drive sales that support a growing capillary electrophoresis business.

As part of Sciex’s vision to further expand on its market leading position in analytical instruments, the successful candidate will sell, promote and act as subject matter expert for CE separations products. The incumbent implements the sales plan designed to achieve established sales and financial goals; calls on prospective and current company customers; involves technical personnel to resolve customers issues and problems as needed; may participate in the establishment of sales targets and design of the territory's sales plan; and controls sales expenses.

Sales Process:

  • Responsible for such activities as funnel management, regular strategic pricing reviews, forecasting and meeting key performance and financial targets.

  • Own and Drive new product and application introductions at Key accounts

  • Develop Strategic Technical, Application and Commercial collaborations with KOL’s that support the separations' business.

  • Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs.

  • Master the basic features and benefits of the entire separations' portfolio of products.

  • Work with global business unit and marketing team to help define new product opportunities, develop positioning and ensure success during new product introductions; Product discontinuation.

  • Track and actively manage competitor activities and generate competitive Responses

  • Indirectly lead and hold accountable a team for opportunities within an organization and call upon them when needed.

  • Direct support sales activities including assessing potential markets, planning product life cycle, coordinating technical product development, defining promotional activities and launching new products.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of successful sales in the Life Sciences capital equipment market.

  • Successful record in growing Life Science products, preferably related to separations sciences, including Capillary Electrophoresis and/or HPLC.

  • Understanding of Mass Spectrometry an advantage

  • Proven track record of leadership of successful new product sales.

  • Track record of analyzing complicated business issues, synthesizing issues to the salient points, developing resulting action plans and implementing for results

  • B.S Applied Science and at least 3 years sales experience in our industry.

  • The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

  • This job is also eligible for sales incentive pay.
