We are looking for an Associate Senior Project Manager to work within our global Project Management Office (PMO) in R&D within the Cell and Gene Therapy business. What you’ll do
Collaborate with project stakeholders to define, plan, optimize and execute project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets of product development projects
Lead cross-functional teams to effectively deliver projects on time and within budget
Work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams across different locations to proactively anticipate challenges, coordinate project timelines, and facilitate decision making
Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks and issues leveraging the appropriate resources within and/or outside the department
Communicate across functional departments, and provide periodic stakeholder communications, and escalate concerns and issues as necessary
Maintain organizational standards of performance, while ensuring compliance with QMS requirements, product lifecycle process, Finance, Legal, Sourcing, EHS, and other functional support processes
Identify and share best practices of application of tools and ways of working to drive continuous improvements
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, software, systems, industrial, biomedical, or related discipline)
5+ years project leadership/management experience within product development, manufacturing or research environment, preferable in the healthcare industry or other highly regulated industry
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget, while satisfying quality and performance requirements
Experience of end-to-end project management within product lifecycle process
Proficient in project management principles (e.g., planning, resource allocation, cost estimation, risk analysis, communication) and project management tools. Professional Project Management certification is an asset (e.g. PMI)
Familiarity and experience of FDA, ISO regulations and guidelines
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder communication in a matrix organization, and to collaborate with diverse and global cross-functional teams
Demonstrated experience of working closely with clients and suppliers to deliver results
Demonstrated ability to influence decision makers
Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast pace environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English
