We are looking for a R&D Verification & Validation Engineer to work with our expert Cell and Gene Therapy Disposable R&D team of more than 30 employees across the world. Do you have a passion for developing innovative products in the Life Sciences World? Then we would love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

  • Support activities to analyze URS, SRS to define tests requirements, test methodology and test plan for design verification and validation activities.

  • Analyze the requirements to develop test methodologies and contribute to the implementation of test equipment (IQ; Gage R&R, WI).

  • Execute mechanical tests according to protocols and be responsible for the statistical data analysis.

  • Be an active contributor in the disposable product development by providing design recommendations based on verification and validation test results.

  • Support activities to perform and document technical root cause investigations in close R&D collaboration with hardware, software, application and disposable kit system matter experts.

  • Participate in the development of good practice guidelines for performing disposables kit verification and validation activities and support the organization of the standardization and harmonization within the R&D disposables team.

  • Work in close collaboration with the R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Product Management Teams.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO13485 standard and other QMS requirements.

Who you are

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in related scientific or engineering fields (mechanics, plastics, material sciences, biomedical engineering or micro-mechanics).

  • Minimum 5-8 year-experience in participating to product development in regulated industry (medical device, class II and/or class III).

  • Experience in supporting the definition of verification and validation plan, the execution of test protocols, the statistical data analysis and the test reports.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills in multisite, multidisciplinary, multicultural matrix organization. Fluent in written and spoken English (minimum C1).

  • Self-starter, hands-on, creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues.
