This position is part of the DBS Department located in Fargo, ND and will be ON-SITE in Fargo, ND.

You will be a part of the Quality organization and report to the DBSL of Quality responsible for improving organizational performance by driving continuous improvement in Quality by using Danaher Business Systems (DBS) and working with leaders to identify improvement opportunities and implement countermeasure to drive reduction in waste, cost and on time delivery. Partner with business leaders to support, and coordinate DBS activities across sites and focus on best practice sharing and DBS knowledge management.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Partner with functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and select improvement priorities needed to achieve performance objectives.

  • Leverage and continuously improve the Kaizen Funnel Process to prioritize, schedule, resource, plan, and drive 80%+ sustainment of Kaizen and PSP events.

  • Drive QDCI (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation) that is tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging DBS tools and supporting the facilitation of workshops, associate trainings, and Kaizen events.

  • Work with the Quality DBSL to schedule events, align on new tools to advance DBS across Quality

  • Identify and share best practices within Quality department and work closely with site DBSLs

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with preference for 3+ years of experience including using continuous improvement/lean tools.

  • Ability to build cross functional relationships and lead through influence to achieve drive DBS, and functional targets.

  • Background in DBS fundamentals with proven track record to drive change and deliver results.

  • Excellent communication skills to work with individuals across all levels of the organization and the ability to train others.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Hands-on experience deployment of DBS tools: VSM, SW, TPI, 5S, PSP, VM/DM, VPM, or DSS preferred.

  • Certified Practitioner (CP) in one or more Lean tools preferred
