This position is part of the GMP Buffer Prep department located in Fargo, ND and will be onsite. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the first shift team and report to the GMP Lab Tech Supervisor responsible for the preparation of buffers and media for the manufacturing process.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Organize and plan Solution Preparation area
Clean and segregate GMP production areas and associated equipment while wearing appropriate gowning
Perform end of shift technical peer review of buffer preparation records for accuracy and compliance with procedures
Assist with chromatography column preparation activities (cleaning and column resin preparation and packing)
Coordinate hazardous waste pick up and completing necessary documentation.
Ensure the laboratory is inspection ready and maintaining overall lab cleanliness.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma required
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to stand, bend, sit, use hands, and lift up to 50 lbs
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working in a laboratory or manufacturing setting
