Position Summary
The Manager, Operations Training, Compliance and Quality Performance role is accountable for planning, developing, managing and overseeing training programs, processes and strategies to develop the Operations/Manufacturing associates. This role is also responsible for overseeing Quality performance within Operations to realize learning and improvement.
Essential Functions
Develop strategy to achieve training compliance in Operations through execution and maintenance of records for constant audit readiness
Develop, coordinate, and facilitate training for new Operations associates to ensure understanding of the manufacturing facility, processes, and regulations
Consult with functional leaders to implement learning strategies that support compliant and industry leading execution across Operations at Breakthrough campus in Fargo, including oversight of dedicated training areas and equipment
Implement technological transfer and full method understanding, including in process testing
Lead Quality performance metrics for Operations, including Daily Management metrics
Investigate Quality performance using tools such as PSP (Problem Solving Process) across functional teams to meet organizational objectives
Deploy training reminders as a part of Daily Management and other channels of communications to associates for process changes, Quality learnings, and EHS topics
Perform regular process audits of personnel in assigned areas
Partner with all functions and represent Operations for future site development, technology implementation, and strategic training and onboarding
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years previous experience in Operational leadership role
Bachelors’ degree required, or equivalent experience
Skills & Knowledge
Outstanding communication skills, including presentation, advanced listening, and facilitation skills
Strong project management and change management skills
Advanced analytical skills
Ability to utilize root cause problem-solving methods to assess and reach effective and efficient resolutions
Excellent conceptual and problem-solving skills
