Danaher Corporation Materials Planner in Fargo, North Dakota

This position is part of the Materials Planning Department located in Fargo, ND and will be on-site. At Aldevron , w e combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Materials Planning team and report to the Materials Planning Manager .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Review and execution of planned purchase orders in ERP system

  • Execution of purchase order actions with suppliers and maintenance of PO delivery dates

  • Maintenance of MRP system to ensure accurate raw material plans to support production

  • Ensures that products are delivered in a timely manner, and that the quality of the goods received is satisfactory accordance with forecasts

  • Maintain communications with production planning, manufacturing, and warehouse to maintain certain inventory levels

  • Maintains key operational and planning metrics

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 2 years’ experience in MRP material planning

  • Has good math skills and is quickly able to calculate the cost of goods and services

  • Knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Office software

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Ability to multitask and the ability to engage with all levels within the organization

  • Possesses strong planning, organizational and analytical skills

  • APICS Certification a Plus
