This position is part of the Supply Chain Department located in Fargo, North Dakota and will be onsite. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide.

We are looking for a talented supply chain professional who will be responsible for ensuring efficient material flow and inventory management, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of the Danaher Materials System (DMS), and the ability to effectively communicate to cross functional teams, including operations, engineering, and sales.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and implement material planning strategies utilizing the Danaher Materials System (DMS) and Kanban principles to ensure alignment of material requirements with production schedules while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance material availability and quality.

  • Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze material usage trends and identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.

  • Generate and present regular reports on material planning performance, including key metrics such as inventory turnover, lead times, and supplier performance.

  • Lead and mentor a team of material planners, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, preferably in a GMP environment

  • Knowledge of inventory control principles, forecasting techniques, and supply chain management concepts, including the Danaher Materials System.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights and proficiency in ERP systems.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

The salary range for this role is $80K-$115K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
