This position is part of the Quality Control Department located in Fargo, ND and will be onsite working a first shift position. You will be a part of the Quality Control Team and report to the Quality Control Biochemistry Supervisor.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Analyst I is responsible for performing various QC assays and sampling to support manufacturing, validation, process development and stability studies in a GMP laboratory environment.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Complete work independently under daily supervision direction from the QC supervisor and/ or QC Lead

  • Perform advanced assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of biological and chemical principles

  • Analyze, interpret, and report test results on the internal Database system

  • Document and compare testing results against control/specification limits

  • Identify quality concerns and escalate when appropriate

  • Identify Out of Specification results and initiate OOS Investigation, perform Root Cause Analysis, Develop Hypotheses testing plan and complete OOS investigations.

  • Act as a collaborator for associated Quality Events and/ or CAPA’s

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Experience working in a laboratory environment preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Scientific related field required

  • Knowledge of basic laboratory practices including an in-depth knowledge of biological processes
