Job Summary:
The Scientist will be responsible for development and optimization of bioanalytical and molecular biological methods that will be used for GMP release and stability testing of nucleic acid drug substances and drug products introduced for therapy either by itself or encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles. The Scientist will also contribute to validation, verification, training and knowledge transfer of these methods to QC following the guidance of global regulatory agencies .
Job Description
Develop molecular biological and/or bioanalytical methods such as mass spectrometry, RT/qPCR, CGE, ELISA, GC and HPLC in the laboratory and through collaboration with other groups, including contract testing laboratories. Ensure that methods are robust and fit-for-purpose.
Develop into a subject matter expert and provide technical support for activities associated with method validations and transfers including development of validation strategies to meet regulatory requirements. Support/develop methods for ATMP raw material testing as needed.
Perform testing and sampling to support analytical method development studies. Accurately generate quality laboratory data and documents following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Identify and implement new techniques, In-Line and At-Line technologies and instrumentation to expand internal capabilities. Prepare justification for new lab equipment, lead installation and training of new equipment.
Participate in client-facing roles
Undertake advanced technology projects, develop platform technologies to push the field forward, handling such projects from inception to completion.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in biology, analytical chemistry, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related scientific field or master’s degree with 0-2 years of relevant work experience or bachelor’s degree with 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience required.
