Danaher Corporation Field Application Specialist Flow in FC, Mexico

Provides technical support via phone or email to internal OpCo functions (engineers, technicians, and product support personnel) by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Repairs and/or updates products at the office site (not field). Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. Highest level of problem escalation. May be responsible for developing and conducting technical training for product lines. Normally degreed as scientists. May be referred to as "bench technicians".Responsible for the applications support Flow Cytometry instruments and reagents portfolio with responsibilities in Mexico and LATAM direct and indirect market. Responsible for accounts in Mexico with a focus on sales targets for Life Science Flow Cytometry hardware and consumables. The role supports sales and customers in both a pre- and post-sales context.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction and ensuring a positive customer experience.• Delivering post-sales instrument training, new platform implementation at customer sites and ongoing application support.• Providing high quality pre-sales support, including instrument and software demonstrations, workflow studies and customer presentations (50%-70% travel is required).• Providing support to Beckman Coulter Sales and Distributor• Contributing to the overall Flow Cytometry revenue targets for Mexico and LATAM.• Communicating effectively and managing relationships with all stakeholders, including key opinion leaders. • University degree in biological sciences, pharmacist, biotechnology or a related subject. • Must be located in Mexico City, Mexico.• Must possess a valid driving license. • The position is home-based and will require at least 50% travel. • Hands-on experience with oncohematology (flow cytometry routine) is highly desirable. • A background in immunology and experience in academic or professional experience in Flow Cytometry preferred.• A previous experience of technical or applications support within a diagnostic or life science company is beneficial, but we also welcome motivated new starters.
