The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer will drive development and continuous improvements in quality, reliability, and lower total costs within a batch manufacturing facility within the Operations group.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop, document, and implement technologies, methods and techniques to drive cost and quality improvements while ensuring compliance with quality systems and company standards.

  • Develop, enhances, implement and maintain manufacturing methods, techniques, processes, and tooling on fabricated parts, components, subassemblies and final products

  • Provide direction for development, maintenance, and procedures.

  • Coordinate the implementation of changes due process changes, product enhancements/revisions, and new product launches to ensure smooth transition to production floor ensuring all quality and validation requirements are met.

  • Design jigs, guards, and fixtures to aid associates.

  • Collaborate with the Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Purchasing functions as well as suppliers to conduct problem solving activities.

  • Provide training to associates.

  • Actively maintain knowledge of new technologies, methods and techniques.

  • Lead Kaizen events and sustain results using DBS tools.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or related technical field with 5 years’ successful industry experience with a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing process environment.

  • Analytical skills – advanced skills in Excel, Access, and VBA
