The Site Leader for Reagents Manufacturing for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the manufacturing operations and facilities. Production comprises of Product Formulation, Pooling, Filling, Testing, and Packaging in a regulated environment.
This position will be located in Florence, KY. You will be an integral part of the leadership team and report to the Senior Director of Operations/Plant Management.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide Direction to the site to manage site Safety, Finances, and staffing, while meeting product Quality, Delivery, and Productivity
Hire, develop and retain talent in support of sites goals and customers’ expectations.
Drive Continuous Process Improvement
Generate budgets and control expenses related to labor, controllable expenses, and manufacturing variances
Lead/Interact with site’s function such as Materials, Procurement, Quality and EHS
Coach the team through Product and Process related technical Investigations.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry) or Engineering (e.g. Chemical Engineering) and 14 years of relevant experience or a Masters with 12+ years relevant experience or a Doctoral degree
4 years of experience in managing people.
Extensive experience in manufacturing.
Leader in troubleshooting, investigation, root cause, and risk analysis in a GMP environment.
Strong background in continuous improvement, i.e. Lean/VDM/Kaizen
Experience in managing multiple priorities in production environment and provide support to meet the manufacturing schedule while maintaining quality and compliance.
Experienced working with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Manufacturing Technical Services, Facilities, Engineering, and Validation.

- Ability to gown for entry to Aseptic manufacturing areas.
