About the Service Contract Renewal Representative role:

This position will be responsible for renewing service contracts on Hach instrumentation to drive market penetration and accelerate revenue growth. The Service Contract Renewal Representative will quickly build customer rapport and establish trust thereby renewing the service contract on time.

  • Engage clients via phone/email to better the customer experience when renewing the service contract

  • Utilize funnel management practices to progress service opportunities to close

  • Prepare renewal quotes, manage specific reports and build/update renewal contracts

  • Follow standard work to manage directly or assign opportunities from the leads process to the appropriate field seller

  • Develop customer quotations for service contracts and follow standard work to ensure on-time renewal.

  • Populate necessary changes to agreements, accounts, instruments, install-base, and other requests via SalesForce.com, CEP, and Oracle

  • Meet or exceed the annual target for timely renewals

  • Engage in department key performance indicators (KPIs) through visual management, and countermeasure where appropriate

  • Handle sales questions from internal/external customers regarding service offerings and provide prompt, accurate answers

  • Coordinate terms and conditions reviews with customers and legal teams

  • Populate and maintain the highest standards of data integrity in Salesforce.com, CEP, and Oracle

  • Collaborate with other departments (Field Sales/Service, SDM, Dispatch, Tech Support, etc.) to drive continuous improvements in contract renewal/service sales processes

  • Collaborate with Service Sales Specialist for customer quoting/PO bookings

    Are you qualified?

  • 1-2 years sales experience, progressive telesales experience selling products and services in a business-to-business environment, or related work experience accepted

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Background in legal processes preferred

  • Solid understanding of customer management systems (ie: Salesforce)

The hourly rate for this role is $26 - $30. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
