Description
The Product Manager will be responsible for Research Use Only and In Vitro Diagnostics reagents and assay kits for LC/MS Systems. The product manager will work closely with the Product Management team to collaborate with Sales, Operation, Service, Quality, Regulatory, and R&D teams to support portfolio sustainment initiatives and drive product adoption. The candidate will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment in a lean organization and must be willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure the job gets completed.

Main position objectives: 1. Work cross-functionally with R D, Operations, Sales, Marketing and other Business Units to support the execution of projects and manage the existing portfolio of products 2. Manage the entire product life cycle for Research Use Only and In Vitro Diagnostics reagents and assay kits from strategic planning to tactical activities. 3. Specify market requirements from all major geographic regions supported by on-going market research with customers and non-customers 4. Support the development and implement company-wide strategic plans and go-to-market plans.

_Responsibilities:_ * Monitor businessand ensure tactical execution is on track to meet revenue, profitability and strategic goals o Monitors financial performance of the product lines (revenue, profitability and AUP) both at and after market, and establishes KPI’s for the product line’s financial performance and develops countermeasures when performance is not met o Tracks the competitive landscape, monitors competitors activities and performs win/loss analysis to derive the right conclusions and countermeasures for tactical marketing campaigns and next generation of products o Monitors the product quality for the product line and develop countermeasures when targets for product quality are not met o Manage customer, client, and support functions expectations of product and services o Manage full product life cycle including product end-of-life (EOL) in alignment with business needs * Manage product developmentroadmapof clinical diagnostic systems and assays, partnering with the product managers for instrumentation and software platforms o Interact with key internal and external customers to understand problems, obtain feedback on new and existing products, and identify solutions o Conduct market research to identify opportunities for current and future products o Synthesize customer input to deliver to product development team and identify user and buyer personas, user needs, and product roadmap o Provide leadership and direction for all internal associates and external partners responsible for the project to ensure projects are successfully completed on time and consistent with organizational goals * Accountable for key aspects ofproduct commercializationto ensure success in meeting revenue goals o Organize and drive activities cross functionally related to global product launch, including developing positioning, sales training, pricing and collateral development to ensure product launch execution o Determine if sales training and tools are adequate and complete post launch, and drive activities to fill any remaining gaps * DevelopBusiness Plansand achieve organizationalalignmentfor future products. o Estimate market size, clinical utility, segmentation and target market definition to drive a long term product roadmap for both new and existing products, globally o Evaluate business opportunities in terms of return on investment o Manage updates to product roadmap considering priorities, resources, and competitive landscape o Present business cases to VPs and President for new product development * Partners with regulatory and legal and confirms the business is compliant with appropriate regulations for IVD product promotion and sales

Qualification
* Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Marketing, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree a strong plus * 3 years of Product Management in for reagents in the life science or diagnostics markets. * Experience working in a global environment and highly matrixed organization a plus

    _Travel:_ This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites globally, particular in North America and Europe, with additional travel to trade shows and SCIEX sites (minimum 20%).
