Are you passionate about biopharma applications development! As a biopharma capillary electrophoresis application scientist, you will work in collaboration with internal and external domain specialists in the advancement of ground breaking biopharma workflow development and subsequent commercial marketing and scientific publications! This position is not routine customer support or product demonstration.
Responsibilities:• Collaborate with customer thought leaders to understand key challenges and develop subsequent analytical solutions • Generate data for scientific proof statements • Significant writing for scientific marketing • Drive customer collaborative publications in scientific journals as well as presentations at conferences • Support of technology development software, hardware as well as external opportunities • Develop business strategy around new and novel technologies and applications • Drive commercial value prop within a scientific context
Key Objectives/Metrics:• Delivery of method and workflow projects• Success of key collaborations• Delivery of marketing material with commercially aligned value prop and excellent scientific writing• Rigor in new product testing• Development of novel scientific ideas and workflows for commercial dissemination
Qualifications:• Ph.D. in Chemistry or Life Sciences, biopharmaceutical and or analytical instrument company, experience a plus for CE, CEMS or LCMS related to biomolecules • Experience in monoclonal antibody characterization in a biopharmaceutical environment and or gene therapy development a strong plus • Experience in sample prep and method development for analytical instrument analysis a plus • Up to 25% travel is required for this position.
