Danaher Corporation Senior Product Manager - Accurate Mass in Framingham, Massachusetts
Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:
This role represents an opportunity for an experienced High Resolution Mass Spectrometry Product Manager. This person represents VOC, prioritizes requirements, manages product lifecycle, defines value propositions, establishes selling price and ensures delivery of quality products to our customers. This role works cross-functionally with R+D, Sales, Marketing and Business Units to support the execution of projects and manage the existing portfolio of products. The person will take ownership, drive decisions and have accountability for specific high resolution mass spectrometry products.
Manage development road map for specific high resolution mass spectrometry products to ensure portfolio alignment and meet the needs of the LC/MS markets
Interact with key internal and external customers globally to understand problems, obtain feedback on new and existing products, and identify solutions
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for current and future products
Synthesize customer input to deliver to product development team and identify user and buyer personas, user needs, and product roadmap
Provide leadership and direction for all internal associates and external partners responsible for the project to ensure projects are successfully completed on time and consistent with organizational goals
Accountable for key aspects of product commercialization to ensure success in meeting revenue goals
Lead internal efforts required for product commercialization, including interfacing with Quality Management Systems, R&D, and related roles
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
PhD, MSc or equivalent experience in a Life science discipline.
Product Management experience is required.
Knowledge of mass spectrometry in the life science industries is strongly preferred.
An understanding of market research best practices strongly preferred.
High degree of technical competence & confidence and ability to interface with the scientific community at all levels is required.
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Fluent English language skills - oral and written.
