Support the Global Customer Experience team in data driven decision making through the utilization of many diverse data sources. Use in-depth understanding of relational and non-relational database models as well as implementations of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to enable SCIEX’s customer experience initiatives. Creating one off datasets or analysis to answer specific questions as well as deployed solutions to gain real time insights, from internal sources and from customers’ feedback (solicited and unsolicited).

  • Develops or modifies program logic for new applications or software which may include coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing and maintaining software applications. Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components.

  • Develops and maintains an ELT data pipeline from/to full spectrum of SCIEX’s enterprise platforms. Including ERP, CRM, IoT, Survey Platforms, Business Applications etc

  • Gather business and technical requirements to deliver analytics solutions to enable SCIEX’s customer experience program and strategy.

  • Development and enhancement of digital solutions to include visualization and advanced AI/ML implementations.

  • Delivery of BI/Analytics solutions with interactive reports, dashboards and visualizations according to specifications delivered by functional contacts.

  • Enablement of data driven decision making on an ad-hoc and constant ongoing basis.

  • Deep understanding of common database architecture to ensure data accuracy, quality and integrity

  • Developing Key Performance indicators for the function and developing automated mechanisms for attaining and reporting of these KPI’s

  • Documenting and creating unit tests according to the requirements of the technology being used

  • Responsible for solutions throughout lifecycle including requirements, PoC, Development, QA, Roll Out and Maintenance.

  • Experience with cloud-based data architecture and tool stacks

  • Gathers improvement opportunities for process automation and enhancements.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements :

  • Masters degree or qualification in Information Science, Computer Science, Analytics, or equivalent.

  • Min 5 years’ experience in data driven role with experience of data modelling and solution development

  • Broad knowledge of database platforms including expertise in SQL

  • Experienced with developing data science models with Python including joining, cleaning and reporting data.

  • Experience with ELT and building Data Pipelines.

  • Experience with PowerBI and/or other BI tools.

  • Excellent proficiency in English language. K

  • Good problem solving and analytical skills

  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

  • AWS stack experience is a plus

  • Experience of applying data mining to gain customer insights

  • Knowledge of an additional language

Work Location:

This job can be performed anywhere except in the state of Colorado. Colorado residents will not be considered for this job posting.
